With more than 25 years of healthcare experience within the Catholic Health and Northwell Health systems, Dominick Pernice is chief operating officer of St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, a 296-bed not-for-profit hospital in Smithtown with 240 nursing home beds.

In this position, he oversees the hospital’s overall operations of Imaging, Cardiac Catheterization, Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation Services, Patient Access, Security, Environmental Services, Materials Management, Engineering, Food and Nutrition, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, and Retail Services.

Mr. Pernice previously served as Assistant Director of Radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and the Administrative Director of Imaging Services and Cardiac Catheterization at Saint Catherine of Siena and Saint Charles Hospitals. He is an active member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

An Islip resident, Mr. Pernice received both his Bachelor of Science degree and his Master of Business Administration degree at Long Island University, CW Post Campus.
