Gregory Galdi is the founder and CEO of Custom Computer Specialists. Greg began his career on Long Island as a chemist at Brookhaven National Labs where he was first introduced to technology. In 1979 he founded Custom Computer Specialists, a technology solutions firm, headquartered at its 100,000 square foot facility in Hauppauge, NY. With humble beginnings in a small store front in Riverhead, Custom has grown to over 300 full time employees and has launched the careers of thousands of Long Islanders. Focusing on technology solutions that improve the communities we live in, Custom works closely with Long Island’s schools, towns, healthcare facilities and enterprise organizations.
Greg is a member of the Suffolk County Workforce Investment Board and is a strong believer in giving back to the communities he serves. He has frequently been recognized for his philanthropic efforts that include supporting Long Island’s associations, hospitals, schools and museums. Greg is a three-time Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, recipient of Long Island University Southampton College’s Distinguished Alumnus Award and member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Greg resides on Long Island with his wife Linda.
