Kevin Santacroce is the New York market president of ConnectOne Bank, a commercial bank with nearly $10 billion in assets. Santacroce leads the growth initiatives and business line strategy for ConnectOne across the New York market while maintaining alignment with the organization’s culture, mission and values.
He oversees the bank’s presence in the New York market, which includes Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Rockland County and the Hudson Valley. He is also responsible for the bank’s strategic growth in its current markets and into new markets, such as the East End of Long Island.
A strong believer in community banking, Santacroce has spent most of his career building smaller institutions into larger regional banks that still maintain a strong community presence. His more than 25 years of experience includes executive-level experience in commercial banking both on the lending and retail side of the business.
A Long Island native, Santacroce is committed to the community. He is the former treasurer of the Timothy Children’s Ranch and currently serves as the financial trustee for St. Patrick’s Church in Southold, where he resides with his wife and four children.
Santacroce received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He also attended Georgetown University and completed his graduate studies through the American Banking Association’s Stonier School of Banking. Santacroce is a lifelong member of the Risk Management Association and has in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, having been the controller of a skilled nursing facility earlier in his career.
