Director
Ann-Marie Scheidt is Director of Economic Development and Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at Stony Brook. She chairs the University’s Tenant Selection and Review Committee, the Long Island Regional Incubator Council and the Business and Economic Development Committee of the Long Island Women’s Agenda, co-chairs the Business Development Committee of the Hauppauge Industrial Association, and is Vice Chair of the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, the region’s largest not-for-profit affordable housing and community development agency. She is Vice President of Women Economic Developers of Long Island and the first full-term female member of the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency. Dr. Scheidt received the Ph.D. in American history from Stony Brook and the A.B. from Brown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
