Alex Lipsky

Director

Alex Lipsky is co-owner and president of Lipsky Construction, a construction management and general contracting company headquartered in Bayport. Over the last five decades, Lipsky Construction has established a reputation with its clients as the “go-to” contractor for commercial, industrial, religious institutions and public-sector construction.

While he was growing up, Lipsky gravitated to a number of leadership positions. These included achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the Boy Scouts of America’s highest level, and being elected as captain of his high school track team. After college, Lipsky began his construction career as an assistant project manager. His arrival at Lipsky Construction started a new chapter, as the third generation of the Lipsky family was welcomed to the construction business. The business was founded by his grandfather, Herbert, and brought to success by his father, Barry, and uncle, Eric. Alex Lipsky found a deep passion to continue his family’s legacy under the guidance of his mentors and alongside his brother, Joel.

Alex Lipsky currently sits on the board of directors for the Theodore Roosevelt Council (Nassau County) of the Boy Scouts of America. He was recently named to the Long Island Press Power List and was honored with a 40 under Forty Award from LIBN. In 2022, Lipsky was selected as Man of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which through his team’s contribution raised more than $93,000 for research.
