HIA-LI Names Finalists for 23rd Annual Business Achievement Awards

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Aug. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — A number of top Long Island organizations are being recognized for excellence in business by the HIA-LI, one of the recognized voices for business on Long Island. This week the B2B association announced 20 finalists across four business categories for the 23rd Annual HIA-LI Business Achievement Awards. Finalist organizations have demonstrated achievements including industry leadership, successful business operations, corporate vision, commitment to the Long Island community and other aspects necessary for growth. Four award recipients among the 20 will be recognized during a gala luncheon event to be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. In choosing the finalists, the selection committee considered multiple factors. The award criteria includes: Positive employer/employee relations, commitment to the growth or betterment of the Long Islandbusiness community, revenue and profitability trends over the last three years and three to five-year vision for the company’s future.

Additional criteria that were considered include: Recent outstanding accomplishments, technical innovation or innovative processes, expansion into new markets, industry leadership and overcoming adversity.
