| The HIA Business Development Committee Reinvents Itself to Help Businesses in Tough Times
Recognizing that times are likely to be tougher before they get easier, the HIA Business Development committee is initiating a two-pronged effort to help HIA members' businesses Do Well in Tough Times.
The first is to revitalize the Front Line Team program, in which volunteers from the membership visit companies on request to understand their needs and acquaint owners and senior management with the abundance of government and other assistance resources capable of addressing those needs.
The second is to provide through Committee meetings a venue where owners and senior managers can have the opportunity to hear from and interact with experts on the many aspects of business that may become problematic in an economic downturn -- the issues that keep CEOs awake at night. The Committee's monthly topic and speaker will be posted on the HIA Website prior to the meeting and guests are cordially invited to attend.
